1. Unfortunately there are thousands of personal issues related to the question and with today’s advanced technology it is easier than ever to install and use such a device. One can monitor a nanny or caregiver either for a child or aging parent that may have an aide. If you are away and simply want to know who is coming and going, monitor your home office or keeping an eye on your pet, there is a perfect solution for any of these needs. Security is becoming less of a choice and more of a necessity so why wait, by then it might be too late.
2. If your like most parents, the thought of your teen getting their driver’s license can be unsettling. The statistics on teen driver safety are frightening: 16 year old drivers are 20 times more likely to get into an accident, teenage drivers have the highest crash risk of any age group, speeding contributes to almost half of all fatal crashes involving teens. As a responsible parent there is a solution available to help you monitor and manage your teen’s driving behavior. Using a web-based monitoring system and the latest in GPS tracking technology, you will have critical information about your teen driver, when and where you need it. It starts with a GPS beacon in your vehicle. Today’s latest beacons are self contained and can connect easily to your vehicle’s power system or work on batteries. You can be up and running within minutes with one of our passive or active GPS devices. In addition our units also work as asset protection devices by allowing you to locate your vehicle, heavy equipment, construction supplies, rental equipment or other valuables left outdoors.
3. Warning Signs of Covert Eavesdropping or Bugging Others know your confidential business or professional trade secrets. Secret meetings and bids seem to be less than secret. People seem to know your activities when they shouldn't. You have noticed strange sounds or volume changes on your phone lines. You have noticed static, popping, or scratching on your phone lines. Sounds are coming from your phones handset when it's hung up. Your phone often rings and nobody is there, or a very faint tone, or high pitched squeal or beep is heard for a fraction of a second. You can hear a tone on your line when your phone is on the hook (by using an external amplifier). Your AM/FM radio has suddenly developed strange interference. Your car radio suddenly starts "getting weird" Your television has suddenly developed strange interference. You have been the victim of a burglary, but nothing was taken. Electrical wall plates appear to have been moved slightly or "jarred". A dime-sized discoloration has suddenly appeared on the wall or ceiling. One of your vendors just gave you any type of electronic device such as a desk radio, alarm clock, lamp, small TV, boom box, CD player, and so on. The smoke detector, clock, lamp, or exit sign in your office or home looks slightly crooked, has a small hole in the surface, or has a quasi reflective surface. Certain types of items have "just appeared" in your office of home, but nobody seems to know how they got there. You notice that "Phone Company" trucks and utilities workers are spending a lot of time near your home or office doing repair work. Telephone, cable, plumbing, or air conditioning repair people show up to do work when no one called them. Your door locks suddenly don't "feel right", they suddenly start to get "sticky", or they completely fail. An eavesdropper sends you a copy of your private conversations. Spy Tec can help you detect and extinguish a treat with our analog and digital RF (radio frequency) detectors, multifunctional sweep units, personal spy camera finders, wireless camera viewers, detectors, and counter surveillance probe monitors. We can also provide a full professional sweep of your home, offices, car, board and conference rooms.
4. Most cameras are analog and must be converted to digital picture. Any standard camera will give you a nice picture because again, the technology can not take any real advantage in picture quality at this time. However, we recommend you to choose best suitable cameras for AVS DVRs to transmit high level of resolution which will match with the performance of AVS DVRs.
5. There are several important things to look at when buying a DVR. The first is the interface. Is it easy to operate? AVS non-PC-based DVR is designed in such a way that any users familiar with consumer PCs to some extent can operate without mistake. The second would be the reliability of the system. AVS non-PC based DVR excluded PC and OS, and it is very stable and reliable in operation. Another thing to look at is the frame rate(fps), and it may be the most important parameter evaluating performance of a DVR. This relates to how many pictures it display and record in a second. channels at very high resolution.
6. A VCR has a low resolution level, and it causes the picture to be grainy. The video tapes degrade and decompose within a short time and video head wear out after long-term use. With a DVR you don't need to change tapes or touch the system at all for long periods of time. The only moving parts is the hard disk drive and if a part breaks, you can easily replace it form the local computer store.
7. It depends on the transmission way.
8. Do you need protection from pistol threats or rifle threats? Soft Kevlar vests stop pistol and Fragmentation threats, but it takes a rigid Rifle Plate to stop a rifle bullet. For handgun protection it is important to know that Level II-A, Level II and Level III-A all stop the overwhelming majority of PISTOL projectiles you are ever likely to encounter (plus 12 gauge, OO buckshot), and also to know that NO vest is ever 100% ‘bulletproof’ under ALL conceivable circumstances. There is always a tradeoff between more protection and wear-ability or concealability - so the level of protection chosen is a personal choice. Better to get a lower protection level that you will wear consistently, than the highest protection that isn't worn! The best vest for you is the one you are actually wearing when shot! Level II-A is ~16+ layers of Kevlar® Level II is ~22+ layers, Level III-A is ~30+ layers. The biggest difference between Levels is the amount of blunt trauma impact protection. Ballistic details at Ballistic Protection Levels... Level II-A might be the best choice if thinness, comfort and concealability are the most important factors, e.g., if wearing for long periods, or with a lot of movement. Level II is often worn by police officers. A great balance between blunt trauma protection, versus cost, and thickness / concealability / comfort. What we recommend most often... Level III-A is a little thicker, stiffer, heavier and more expensive, but will stop more of the uncommon pistol threats, for example, it is tested for 9mm sub-machine-gun and .44 Magnum. Plus it gives you more blunt trauma impact protection – possibly better to return fire in a gunfight. Stab –Resistant vests are available, but we generally do not recommend the added cost unless there is a specific knife threat. Why? Not that we don't like to sell our most expensive vests – but Stab-Resistance makes the vest a little heavier and thicker and significantly stiffer, and therefore less comfortable and concealable. Secondly a regular ballistic vest does offer some knife protection from slashing attacks. You can also upgrade regular ballistic vests with Stab Resistant Inserts.
9. The much higher velocity of rifle rounds requires HARD Body Armor Rifle Plates – Level III or Level IV Ballistic Steel, Ceramic or Polyethylene - usually ~10" by 12" (~25 by 30 cm.) and generally from 3 to 8 lbs (1.6 - 3.6 kg.) per plate to cover the Chest and / or Back (that's 6 to 16 lbs. Front & Back) SOFT Body Armor vests only offer pistol, Fragmentation, and shotgun protection (birdshot and buckshot, but NOT shotgun slugs). Even doubling up TWO Level III-A soft vests would NOT stop a rifle bullet!
10. Very comfortable - unless it gets hot! Heat buildup is always a problem in the summer. No vest on earth can honestly claim to be comfortable when it is hot and / or you are exercising and sweating hard. The thickness of the ballistic panel insulates you, and the waterproofing of the ballistic panel simply prevents effective cooling through the vest. So, in a very hot environment, you might want to leave a gap on the sides for extra ventilation when sized , and accept only partial side protection. We strongly recommend at least 'Sweat-Wicking Undershirts to keep you drier and cooler. It accomplishes this by wicking sweat away literally 3 times faster than a cotton shirt. When the sweat has been "wicked" to the edge of the vest it can then evaporate.
11. Level II-A is adequate (and may be the best choice if concealment, light weight and/or comfort is the first priority over more blunt trauma protection).
12. Night vision devices gather existing ambient light (starlight, moonlight or infra-red light) through the front lens. This light, which is made up of photons goes into a photocathode tube which changes the photons to electrons. The electrons are then amplified to a much greater number through an electrical and chemical process. The electrons are then hurled against a phosphorus screen that changes the amplified electrons back into visible light that you see through the eyepiece. The image will now be a clear green-hued amplified re-creation of the scene you were observing.
